These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the We Assist AI website and services (“Services”), operated by We Assist AI (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing our website, booking a demo, or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

1. About We Assist AI

We Assist AI provides AI-powered chatbot automation services for estate agents and property professionals. Our Services are designed to assist with customer enquiries, lead capture, and website engagement.

Services are provided on a subscription basis unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Eligibility

By using our Services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old

  • You have the authority to act on behalf of your business

  • You will use the Services for lawful business purposes only

3. Data Protection & UK GDPR

We Assist AI complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

3.1 Data Roles

  • You (the client) act as the Data Controller

  • We Assist AI acts as a Data Processor for any personal data processed through the chatbot on your behalf

You are responsible for ensuring that personal data collected via your website and chatbot is lawful, transparent, and compliant with UK GDPR.

4. Use of the Services

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Collect or process personal data unlawfully

  • Transmit misleading, harmful, or illegal content

  • Breach privacy, consumer protection, or data protection laws

You are responsible for reviewing chatbot outputs and ensuring they are appropriate for your business.

5. Subscription, Payments & Cancellation

  • Services are provided on a subscription basis and are billed monthly or quarterly, depending on the plan selected at the time of purchase.

  • Payments are processed securely via Squarespace Payments and its integrated payment providers. We Assist AI does not store or process payment card details.

  • Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time by the client, either through their account or by contacting us in writing.

  • Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and access to the Services will continue until that period expires.

  • Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

  • Failure to make payment may result in suspension or termination of the Services.

6. No Guarantee of Results

While our Services are designed to improve efficiency and engagement, we do not guarantee specific outcomes, including but not limited to:

  • Lead volumes

  • Conversion rates

  • Revenue growth

Results may vary based on website traffic, usage, and business practices.

7. Third-Party Services

Our Services may integrate with third-party platforms, including but not limited to:

  • Website hosting providers

  • Scheduling tools

  • CRM or communication services

We Assist AI is not responsible for interruptions, changes, or issues caused by third-party services, including Squarespace or its payment providers.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property relating to the Services, including software, branding, content, and documentation, remains the property of We Assist AI unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, resell, or distribute any part of the Services without prior written consent.

9. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if:

  • These Terms are breached

  • Payments are overdue

  • The Services are used unlawfully or abusively

You may cancel your subscription at any time in accordance with your billing cycle.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, We Assist AI shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities

  • Issues arising from chatbot outputs, third-party services, or website integrations

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

The laws of England and Wales govern these Terms, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
